1. Personal Data We Collect
The Service collects the following personal data.
- Account information: email address, password (stored encrypted). When you sign in with Google, the email and profile information provided by Google
- Learning data: your conversations with the AI, saved expressions and sentences, review (spaced-repetition) records, and information from analyzed videos and scripts
- Payment information: subscription payments are processed through our payment provider (Dodo Payments); the Service does not store card numbers or other payment-method details. We retain only your subscription status, billing cycle, and next billing date
- Automatically collected information: access logs, device and browser information, and usage statistics (for service improvement and performance measurement)
2. Purposes of Use
- Providing the Service, such as AI foreign-language conversation and correction, organizing expressions from videos, and review
- Member identification and authentication, email verification, and password reset
- Processing payment, renewal, and cancellation of paid subscriptions
- Responding to customer inquiries and delivering notices
- Improving service quality and preventing misuse
3. Processing on Our Behalf and Disclosure to Third Parties
To operate smoothly, the Service entrusts the processing of personal data to the providers below. Some of them maintain servers overseas (primarily in the United States), so your personal data may be transferred abroad.
- Google Firebase — member authentication, database, and hosting
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI processing such as conversation and correction (the conversation text you enter)
- OpenAI — speech recognition (dictation) and speech synthesis (read-aloud)
- Dodo Payments — subscription payment processing
- Resend — sending verification and notification emails
- Vercel — web hosting and usage statistics
Except where required by law or with your consent, the Service does not sell your personal data to third parties or provide it for marketing purposes.
4. Retention and Deletion
Personal data is retained while your membership is active and is deleted without delay when you withdraw from membership (delete your account). However, where relevant laws require retention, the data is kept for the applicable period (for example, payment and contract records under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
5. Your Rights
You may at any time request to access, correct, delete, or suspend the processing of your personal data, and withdraw your consent. You can delete your learning data and account together via “Delete Account” on the account screen, and other requests may be submitted to the email below.
6. Security Measures and Notice of Changes
The Service takes reasonable protective measures, including password encryption, access-control management, and transport-layer encryption (HTTPS). If this policy changes, we will provide advance notice within the Service.
